Cooking clean up

Let me start by saying that we do not eat sweets 24/7 around here nor are we always cooking, as it might appear on my blog due to recent pictures. Now that I am a SAHM, I have more time with the kids and less money so cooking just happens more often. And on Fridays, we tailgate at the high school ball game so we like to bring sweet treats (we eat pretty healthy around here most of the time). And really, how much fun is it to watch the kids help me put a turkey in the oven? Licking the bowls clean is much more photo worthy.

Evan helped today but left before "clean-up"... he is not as obsessed with chocolate as is Brynn. Nyah did not help with the cooking and didn't like the chocolate a whole lot but she loved standing on the chair. How could I miss these moments with them getting along!!!???





I was so busy taking pictures I panicked because I forgot to set the timer so I had to guess how much longer to cook the brownies, which I discovered about five minutes later on top of the stove, since, oh, I forgot to put them in the oven to start with.
