Right now, as this posts, my rough & and tumble 4 and 11/12 year old daughter who...
loves to dig in the dirt collect worms...
prefers hats (and headgear) to bows...
dreams of superheros and snears at princesses...
wants to be a rockstar...
has a mom who considers her "dressed up" when her shirt and shorts match (she obviously thinks a hat adds to the outfit)...
and who proudly admits her favorite book off her preschool's shelf is a non-fiction one about beetles...
has been tranformed into a ballerina!!!
Of course, she is beautiful no matter what she wears...
whether it is her standard blue jeans or her new "puffy" skirt.
We're all just not used to this girly-girl style, even Brynn, though she does LOVE the headband.
Right about now, she is probably waving and blowing kisses at the audience and shaking body parts that shouldn't be shaken in ballet...
but she wouldn't be Brynn if she didn't put her own style into it!
We love you Brynn!

It was such an enchanting performance with many memorable moments like being able to hear your giggle when you missed your mark and had to 'ballet run' all the way around the other dancers again to get in place. And how you looked like a little white puffball when you did the forward roll down the ramp. And when you blew a kiss out to Mommie ( or was that to the whole audience?)

Sorry we missed the performance. You were a true balerina we know.
