I'm a little behind on the zoo update but the weather was great and Doug said he had a good time with his group. He confessed later that a few of the moms and relatives met the group at the zoo so he had a lot of help... figures that happens on the dad shift! Anyway, Price liked the white tiger the best and that is the one animal we did not get a good picture of (you looked at him through a window).
Price has only 11 days left of Kindergarten. I am so sad - I am not sure he will ever had a teacher as wonderful as his teacher this year; he has learned so much and he loves her even though he teases her by being affectionate with other teachers and not so much with her. I have heard a rumor she is moving to 3rd grade next year so maybe in two years... What a wonderful year it has been for him!
Price is playing soccer again for Ducky and his coach, the other players, and the supportive parents and fans (check out the mascot below congratulating Price on a good play... now she is a true fan!) have made this another wonderful season. He had two goals this week and Caleb, testing out my camera for the first time, got a great shot! Two games this Saturday, which is great, because Price hates to sit out and with 10 kids on the team and 5 playing at a time, he understandably has to do his "bench" time. He will be so excited to play twice as long!I am so proud of Price for his sportsmanship. He is also quite a leader on the field as he gently tells others where they need to be, smiling the whole time and being so positive. Price is just loving life right now and it is a joy to see!
