October was busy, busy for us... what else is new? Evan and Price played ball for the same team and had a great season. Halloween was again a blast though the boys think they are too old to participate. Who doesn't like free candy? The girls dressed up like a fifties girl (Jessa), a butterfly (Nyah), and a spy (Brynn). I'm pretty sure Brynn is not capable of being quiet enough for a spy but she looks the part well. Brynn and Nyah also dressed up for Favorite Character day at school... an elf and Cinderella. We also had our trip to the pumpkin patch, which is never complete until Nyah and her buddy Cayden head off into the field and serious discuss which pumpkins are best. I was also able to chaperone the 3rd grade trip to DC. Though I was with Brynn's class, I did get to sit behind Evan on the bus.
It appears Caleb is way underrepresented in these pictures. His cross country season fizzled out when he needed to spend more time with the trainer than with his coaches due to ongoing knee issues. Still, he does live here so I will have to work on sneaking up on him before he can protest a bit more.
The exciting part is that the rebuilding can now begin.
