Back to work and school this week. I did have today off so Nyah hung out... one of the reasons she is in most of these pictures. She is not a more willing "model" than the rest of them... she just can't escape as easily.
Nyah's manicure (she does sit still for these)...
Here are two girls who don't want to accept that the Christmas season is over. Nyah brought home these antlers from preschool and insisted, with her hands on her hips, that she had to have a red nose to go with them. Brynn out of the blue put on last year's dance recital costume (not quite correctly) and said she was Santa... she is making this toy in the picture.
Nyah on her way back from speech class. Her speech has improved dramatically in recent weeks though right now it is a whole family effort to get her to make an "f" sound at the start of words. We were in our driveway for this picture; I did not take it while driving. :o)
I think I am nesting. I have been cleaning out a lot of crowded spaces recently (slowly though since finding time is tough). I bought this hat and bow, along with another set for Brynn, to support a fundraiser last year and forgot I did. I had to bribe Nyah to wear it for a few minutes... she is so girly in some ways (nails and picky about clothes) and in others, so not (bows in her hair). Her 'tude here cracks me up.
And a brief smile before she took it off.
Nyah's tea set and her princess table (thanks Grandma and Grandpa) from Christmas have been big hits. Here Nyah set up tea for herself and her guest, a horse with a broken leg. There is not a lack of creativity in this house!

pictures are so cute! Can we get the girls together to play sometime? I think they would have a blast.
