I have definitely been concerned about Nyah's language skills... she really says very little that is understandable... most can be figured out by looking around and body language but still, she is over 2 1/2 and should be saying more than two "word" phrases. Over the past few weeks she really has made progress with attempting to use words and tonight, we had a 5-word sentence:
"No write NyNy on leg."
She said it while observing her previous night's artwork (we didn't catch her the pen until 10 minutes after lights out when significant damage was done and one round with a wash cloth didn't cut it). Not only did we get a sentence but she clearly got the message that we write on paper around here after my 126th stern lecture on the topic. Yeah Nyah!
