Thought I would share a bit of what we have been up to in pictures. I still have plenty from the summer but at this point I can't wait to post new stuff until I am caught up or the cobwebs here will just keep getting thicker.
Jessa and I are in a Mommy & Me dance/gym class on Mondays. She is all over the place there, pretty much always somewhere besides where she should be. She looks at Ms. Heather, me, and everyone else as if we are crazy. Her favorite class activity by far is swinging on the uneven bars. Her favorite other activities are sitting on the balance beam as if it were the coolest seat ever, throwing her body onto the mats face first and giggling, and getting the lollipop at the end of class. I think I get more of a workout trying to get her to participate than I do running! These pictures are post-class in the unused room... it is way too busy to get in class shots!
As of yesterday, Doug and I are parents of a TEENAGER! So hard to believe.
Here is Caleb taking his sweet time coming up with a wish before he blew the candles out.
Caleb is doing great in school... all A's and occasionally a B. He is taking his second HS credit class this year. Caleb's sense of humor cracks me up and I love when his teachers come up to me and tell me they see it too (he is pretty quiet).
Most of all I am proud of him for always being himself... he does not try to change who he is to fit in or impress others. I hope that doesn't change!
Someone else had a big birthday this month! He was definitely in mourning for his 30's but he didn't get much sympathy from me since I am already in the 40 club. :o)
Price is never really willing to let me take his picture. Good thing baseball starts up again this evening because he can't stop me mid-play! Price's body decided earlier this month that it no longer needed its appendix. Forty-eight hours after he first said his belly hurt he was in surgery having it taken out. I think he enjoyed his week out of school a bit too much! The first days back were a struggle but things are back to normal now.
Caleb is running cross country for the middle school again this year. He has been injured most of the season (shin splints or maybe a stress fracture). He has spent a lot of time with the trainer and actually has really enjoyed the sports medicine side of athletics.
Evan starts ball again this evening too. Price and Evan will play on the same team. Here is a "model" of himself he made for one of his classes. Sports and video games... as always!
My brother and his wife came down to go to the Penn State/UVA game. We had a lot of fun and I was excited to get a few more pictures for Evan and Price's room.
Nyah is taking dance classes again this year. She is doing gymnastics, ballet, and tap. So far she has found Kindergarten exhausting but is doing very well.
Brynn has escaped the camera so far this month!
