Catching up... again...

I have a feeling I will be doing a lot of "catching up" posts, okay, a few anyway, between now and Spring. This time of year is just so busy with sicknesses, school closings, and well, just the craziness of our family!

This past weekend was a lot of fun. Evan and Price had a great basketball game and Caleb did well with wrestling and then we celebrated the Chinese New Year with other adoptive and soon-to-be adoptive families in our town. Thank you Denise for being such a wonderul hostess! We had a great time. My camera stopped focusing after the first few pictures so this is all I got of the event (thankfully, it was a user error and my camera worked fine within minutes of us getting home to my manual). Then on Sunday we headed to a Superbowl party and it was a blast too! Such an exciting game and a lot of fun people to watch it with. I did not bring my camera but Nyah brought the one we let the kids use so here is Brynn's version of the Superbowl party...

And here is Nyah's... notice the pictures were not smudged until she had the camera. Not sure what got on the lens before she took Caleb's picture...

Gotta love the self portraits! And I think there are now more pictures of me on this post than on any post ever. Gotta get back to taking the pictures or at least work on other people's angles! :)

The kids all finally went back to school yesterday and it was nice to have a "routine" day. Tomorrow night my online photography class starts. I am very excited. I have been working on my photo taking and post-processing... my photography blog is listed somewhere on the left of this blog if you want to check out what I've been working at!
